Weber 7526 Cooking Grate

Weber 7526 Cooking Grate Review

My original grills finally got rust holes so they went to the scrap pile. I had already replaced the flavorizer bars (V bars over burners) with aftermarket stainless steel. So I had the choice to go with stainless grate or cast iron. After some research I chose the cast iron and I am glad I did. They are more expensive than stainless and take a bit longer to pre-heat....but I think worth it. I got these during the middle of winter so I haven't done a lot of grilling but what I have done turned out nice. The only negative is the space between the bars is slightly wider than the stamped grates. So a small fish fillet may fall through after you cook it if you put it directly on the bars. steaks and pork is perfect. My Grill is the Weber Genesis Silver C and the grates were a perfect fit.

Weber 7526 Cooking Grate Overview

The Weber cooking grate is made of porcelain-enameled cast-iron and fits the Genesis Silver B and C and Spirit E-310 gas grill. The porcelain enamel is cooked into the cast iron to prevent the rust but it still really feels and looks like regular cast iron.
