4. The fourth step in a do-it-yourself fireplace is making sure that the general height of the fireplace is six feet and the width should be four feet. The back must be one foot deep.
5. The fifth step in a do-it-yourself fireplace is building walls on the two sides. The walls should be two feet in height. This is an important part of this project because it where you will put the grill. Its face should be an accessible part so you can always get your grill out of it easily.
6. The sixth step in a do-it-yourself fireplace is making the griddle's shelves. These shelves should be the place where you keep the charcoals. This should be six inches under the fireplace's grill. You may also put your accessories for grilling in it.
You can maintain this fireplace safe as long as you never leave it unattended. Make sure that someone will watch over it if you have to get something far from it. You may also use gel fuel which can easily be put out instead of the ordinary charcoal. The last thing you need to remember is to make sure that the fire has been entirely put out before leaving your fireplace.
